Renovation Trend Alert: Tile Showers

In the renovation and construction industry, we see lots of trends sweep through homeowners' radars. While some are less-than desirable (like shag carpet), a new trend on the horizon is timeless and classic - tile showers. When considering a bathroom renovation, it's becoming typical for a homeowner to ditch the plastic shower surround and opt instead for a floor to ceiling tile surround.

Not only is tile easy to clean and durable, holding up to moisture well, but the completed look is polished and sophisticated for MANY years to come. Small extras, like a built-in soap or seating shelf make a huge difference in the functionality of the shower.
